Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Consultant in Acute Medicine at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our acute medicine department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

As a Consultant in Acute Medicine, you will be responsible for leading a team of medical professionals and working closely with our existing acute physicians to deliver excellent care to our patients. Main Duties
  • Lead a team of medical professionals in providing high-quality patient care
  • Work closely with our existing acute physicians to develop and implement new services and initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of our acute medicine department and the wider trust
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to junior doctors and other medical staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Eligibility for entry on the GMC Specialist Register
  • College Membership (MRCP) or equivalent qualification
  • Advanced Life Support certification
  • Experience of working in acute medicine and leading a team of medical professionals
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
