About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Coordinator to join our Compass Changing Lives MHST team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing daily oversight, clinical and safeguarding decision-making, and risk assessment oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily oversight of the duty system, including incoming referrals and progress
  • Support staff, liaise with external agencies, and provide advice and guidance
  • Work alongside the Operations Manager, Clinical Operations Team, and Team Lead to develop and manage the MHST/EITTS Duty system

Requirements
  • Core professional and/or clinical qualification (e.g., EMHP, CWP, PMHW, nursing with specialism in mental health or learning disability nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work)
  • Two years post-qualification experience of working therapeutically with children and young people
  • Experience of CBT-informed practice, risk assessment and management, and effective engagement with CYPF
