Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a well-established business in the financial sector who are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager/Supervisor to join their team and support the Financial Director in the preparation of the monthly reporting pack.

This business is a dynamic and ever-changing environment, making it an ideal place to gain overall responsibility and develop your skills in producing the accounts up to trail balance level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the nominal ledger coding and subsequent reconciliations
  • Support the invoicing of both sales and purchase ledger processing
  • Accruals/Prepayments
  • Responsible for intercompany re-charges and transactions
  • Work closely with the invoice factoring company and monitor closely the cashflow
  • Produce month end reports around internal expenditure, debtors/creditors and labour variances
  • Bank postings and reconciliations
  • Responsible for the cash book journals and multi-currency accounts
  • Collate the weekly payroll ready for processing
  • VAT/Tax returns as well as payment of PAYE

Requirements:

  • An experienced individual who is looking to join a business where they are valued and wish to assist with all elements of the month end reporting
  • A friendly and conscientious approach as we are looking for team players who can work closely with the Financial Director and be flexible in their approach to work and levels of personnel

This is a fully office-based role, so commuteability to the business location is a must.
