Front of House Hospitality and Events Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Hospitality and Events Manager to lead and manage all front-of-house duties and catering staff at Harlaxton. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our Harlaxton events team to ensure that events are conducted smoothly and functions are set up and executed according to standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage front-of-house duties and catering staff
  • Work collaboratively with the Harlaxton events team
  • Ensure events are conducted smoothly and functions are set up and executed according to standards and expectations
  • Manage staff rotas and provide Master of Ceremony services when needed
  • Liaise with the events team to ensure top-notch service throughout the day
  • Ensure clients and goods are checked in and out with correct documentation and complete full closure of events
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Front of House Hospitality and Events Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment
  • Ability to manage, train, and support a team
  • Financially astute and able to create and maintain budgets
  • Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment
