The Opportunity

Join our team at one of the areas most reputable hotels as a Sales Manager, overseeing the sales function and working closely with the Front office team to drive business across all segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be fully accountable and responsible for delivering the key commercial lines of the budget.
  • Lead, inspire and develop the pro-active sales culture at the hotel.
  • Have a proactive approach to generating new business for the hotel and to build strong and lasting relationships with existing, lapsed and new clients, in order to grow market share.
  • Work with the on-property team to maximise all opportunities.
  • Generate new meetings, events & teambuilding enquiries both with corporates and venue finding agencies.

Requirements

Experience and a successful track record of sales management in a hotel or hospitality venue.

A minimum of 3 years hotel sales management experience.

Experience of working within a hotel sales team environment and being able to demonstrate effective coaching skills.

Strong commercial outlook – sales and revenue driven.

Excellent sales, customer care, account management and negotiation skills.

Strong presentation and influencing skills.

A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual.

Driven and determined to achieve results.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate and engage effectively at all levels.

Knowledge of PMS and CRM systems preferred, although training will be given.

Report writing skills and able to use Word; Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint for presentations.
