The selected candidate will engage in various bids across multiple sectors such as commercial, residential, logistics, healthcare, recreation, manufacturing, and various frameworks. Team Structure
You will be part of a cohesive Pre-Construction team, closely collaborating with operations and design teams, while reporting directly to the Pre-Construction Manager.


Key Responsibilities
As a Bid Writer, your contributions will be vital to the ongoing business growth by producing engaging and high-quality content for submissions. You will also provide proactive support to subject matter experts throughout the bidding process, offering guidance on writing and content development.


Main Duties Include:

  • Leading and coordinating storyboard sessions to craft customized content and responses to Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs).
  • Innovating methods for sharing and presenting information, and utilizing client feedback to enhance future submissions for continuous improvement.
  • Revising proposal responses from various internal stakeholders, including operations, commercial, legal, and HR, ensuring timely delivery of completed proposals.
  • Understanding and applying public procurement legislation and relevant policies to written responses due to the nature of the role and industry.


Candidate Requirements
This Bid Writer position is ideal for individuals who possess:

  • A professional writing background, ideally with a degree in English Language, along with experience in bid writing or management.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word and Office, as well as proficiency in desktop publishing and design software such as Adobe InDesign.


Compensation and Benefits
The organization offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, depending on experience, along with:

  • 25 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
