Social Worker for Children's Services

We are seeking a qualified social worker to join our team at SW Locums, providing a social work service for children and families in the UK. As a member of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will contribute to the provision of a safeguarding triage function for all safeguarding concerns.
Key Responsibilities:- Triage safeguarding concerns based on the level of risk and undertake information gathering.
- Decide on the next course of action, which may involve signposting to relevant organisations or conducting enquiries under section 42 of the Care Act.
- Work closely with partner agencies to share information and provide a high-quality response to adults at risk.
- Be a registered social worker with a willingness to develop an in-depth knowledge of the Care Act.
- Have a desire to develop advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate an understanding of risk management and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLs).
