Head of Individual Giving

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Individual Giving to join our client's dynamic team. As a key member of the fundraising team, you will be responsible for delivering ambitious plans to grow the individual giving programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse supporter data to identify new opportunities and develop effective segmentation strategies.
  • Create and implement initiatives, campaigns, and appeals to drive consistent growth in supporter engagement and contributions.
  • Track market trends and opportunities to inform acquisition strategies and campaign timing.
  • Establish and pursue growth targets across multiple unrestricted income streams.
  • Assist in budget preparation and oversight to ensure financial soundness and cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan and direct online and offline acquisition activities to meet targets and continuously monitor campaigns for improvements.
  • Develop evidence-based individual giving strategies for long-term success, suitable for presentation at the Board level.
  • Lead legacy marketing efforts to increase income in the medium term and build a robust legacy pipeline.
  • Monitor supporter engagement and retention, maintaining a high standard of service and gaining deep insights into our supporters.
  • Lead fundraising events and manage the Individual Giving Manager and Senior Officer.
Requirements:
  • Strong working experience in delivering individual giving targets.
  • Ability to adapt strategies to ensure campaign success.
  • Proven ability to meet donor acquisition goals and successfully achieve targets for acquiring new donors.
  • Demonstrated success in crafting creative and persuasive donor appeals.
  • Significant experience in launching and managing programs that enhance donor engagement and retention.
