Trauma Audit Coordinator

The shift pattern for this position is days, with part-time hours available. The salary is pro rata for part-time hours.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the Scottish Trauma Audit Group as a Local Area Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the Scottish Trauma Audit Group for relevant sites across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
The post holder will collect and enter data for patients to be included in the audit, following agreed national guidelines and protocols. They will be employed by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and based in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, with the possibility of working flexibly across the Health Board to meet service demands.
The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital is a university teaching hospital, operating in the acute division of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. It has been designated as the Major Trauma Centre for the West of Scotland Trauma Network, which is expected to become operational by 2021. The hospital receives approximately 120,000 patient attendances per annum, with presentations ranging from minor injuries or illnesses to those requiring immediate resuscitation.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with the Scottish Trauma Audit Group to ensure the successful implementation of the audit. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting on the audit's progress.
