Trauma Audit Coordinator

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join the Scottish Trauma Audit Group as a Local Area Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the Scottish Trauma Audit Group for relevant sites across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, ensuring the collection and entry of data for patients to be included in the audit, following agreed national guidelines and protocols.
The post holder will be employed by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and will be based in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH), with the possibility of working flexibly across the Health Board to meet service demands.
The QEUH is a university teaching hospital, operating in the acute division of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and has been designated as the Major Trauma Centre for the West of Scotland Trauma Network.
Patient attendance is approximately 120,000 per annum, and presentations range from minor injuries or illnesses to those who require immediate resuscitation either in hospital or in the pre-hospital setting.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with the Lead Nurse Nicola Baxter and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the audit.
NHS Scotland encourages applications from all sections of the community and promotes a culture of inclusion across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period to accommodate the new reduced working week.
