Job Summary:

Morson Talent is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our client's team at Hartlepool Power Station on a permanent part-time basis (29.6 hours per week). As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing proactive employee relations case support and working with people managers to address issues across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive, professional HR advice and guidance to employees and managers.
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business, including Trade Union representatives.
  • Assist managers in understanding and implementing business policies, relative to your employment case portfolio.
  • Assist managers in informal and formal case meetings, taking appropriate notes and preparing relevant outcome documentation.
  • Brief the HR team on the status of cases and approach being taken.
  • Support the wider community by providing valuable feedback and insight from your case work to enrich the data used in workshops, training, coaching, and guidance.
  • Collaborate with managers and collate the required documentation to formulate hearing packs or signpost managers to the correct templates and policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and utilize technology to track progress and record accurate case records.

Requirements:

  • CIPD level 3 qualified or above, or working towards, or have demonstrable experience within a HR role with case experience.
  • Previous experience in an HR or employee relations role with a good up-to-date understanding of employment law.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret data, utilize dashboards to identify trends, and maintain and monitor HR systems, ensuring the accuracy of data.
  • Strong experience with complex HR cases and experience working with TU's.
  • Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and trade union representatives, with good written and verbal communication skills.
