We are seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in ensuring the environmentally compliant transfer and processing of waste materials. As a Technical Compliance Manager, you will oversee critical operations and ensure that waste materials are transferred and processed in strict accordance with the client's waste management permit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with waste management regulations and policies
  • Develop and implement effective waste management strategies
  • Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve environmental sustainability goals
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on waste management procedures

Requirements:

  • WAMITB COTC (Certificate of Technical Competence) in Waste Management
  • Environmental Science Degree or Masters
  • ISO 9001 Auditing or Implementation
  • ISO 14001 Auditing or Implementation
  • ISO 18001 Auditing or Implementation
  • IOSH / NEBOSH
  • Full UK Driving License (Essential)
  • Proficiency in commonly used IT systems such as Microsoft Office or Databases
