Compliance Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team at House of Fashion Associates Ltd. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in quality control and corporate policy auditing, with a strong understanding of current regulations affecting manufacturing companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal labour laws, as well as business practices.
  • Review and respond to official inquiries and correspondence with government agencies to ensure completeness and propriety.
  • Collaborate with managers to establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and utilize IS9001 to police and manage compliance.
  • Ensure vendors and mills comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support for product safety standards and compliance.
  • Support other projects related to business compliance, such as perpetual inventory count for retail.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in quality control or corporate policy auditing.
  • ISO 9001 experience preferred.
  • Advanced computer database and Microsoft Office software skills.
  • Strong understanding of current regulations affecting manufacturing companies.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications and Professional Accreditations:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is desirable.
  • Global import/export supply chain manufacturing experience.
