Event Project Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Project Technician to join our Production team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end event production, including technical coordination, presentation setup and support, AV/VC services, streaming, and event management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Technical Specialists, Senior Technicians, and Technicians to plan and deliver successful events.
  • Operate a range of installed AV systems, including Ross Carbonite switcher, ETC Ion lighting desk, Sony RCP 1500's, and SSL L100 audio consoles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot AV equipment as needed.
  • Ensure SOPs are applied and contingency planning is included in event support.
  • Contribute to R&D efforts to improve quality of output, efficiency through automation/tooling, and process improvements.
  • Deliver high-quality service to our partners and adhere to broadcast standards for remote and recorded attendees.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of professional technical live event production experience.
  • Strong proficiency in operating installed AV equipment, including Ross Carbonite, Barco switching, Sony RCP 1500, and ETC Ion lighting desk.
  • Experience working in a broadcast environment, with specific exposure to operating in a gallery/master control room setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
  • Able to commit to being onsite 5 days per week, based within the client's offices (Kings Cross area).
