Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Branch Assistant to become an integral part of our team at Williams Trade Supplies. This dynamic role involves engaging with customers both at the trade counter and via phone, managing deliveries, and supporting warehouse operations to maintain our high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at the trade counter and respond to inquiries
- Prepare and process quotations
- Ensure the branch and warehouse are well-maintained, including stock management and cleanliness
- Receive, verify, and organize incoming inventory
- Accurately assemble orders for delivery
- Conduct local deliveries
- Support general tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager and their assistant
Candidate Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable and flexible in handling various tasks
- A proactive team player who contributes positively
- Ambitious with a desire for personal growth and learning
- Possess a valid UK driving license
