Job Title: Senior Travel Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Travel Specialist to join our team in the Middle East and North Africa specialist division. As a Senior Travel Specialist, you will be responsible for creating memorable journeys for our clients, building strong relationships with them, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take client enquiries over the phone and via email for package and tailor-made itineraries to the Middle East and North Africa
  • Offer excellent customer service, building a rapport with clients and closing sales to meet team targets
  • Follow up on enquiries with courtesy calls to maintain good customer service and ensure maximum booking potential
  • Related administration, including booking confirmations and chasing payments
  • Attend product training sessions and participate in company-sponsored educational trips
  • Represent the company at client events and trade exhibitions, promoting the brand and building relationships
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and travel agents to keep them informed of progress and booking status
  • Complete educational pre and post-trip paperwork, including presentations to the team and office
  • Use effective questioning techniques to establish client requirements and create bespoke itineraries
Requirements:
  • Interest, passion, and knowledge for North Africa and the Middle East
  • Minimum 2 years of travel sales experience
  • Adhere to working hours, maintaining optimum cover for client enquiries
  • Meet client and colleague expectations by maintaining a professional attitude
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Keen to progress and develop a career in the travel industry
The Package:

This role offers a starting salary of £32,000 per annum, plus commission, with Monday to Friday office hours and Saturday rota basis. The company also offers excellent benefits and the opportunity to apply for hybrid working after a period of training.
