About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Time for Dementia Volunteer. As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in promoting the Time for Dementia education program, which aims to improve the knowledge, attitude, and empathy of future healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact local community groups, such as Dementia Cafes, to promote the Time for Dementia program
  • Attend community groups to share information about the program and collect contact details of interested families
  • Work closely with our Time for Dementia Officers to follow up on leads and support families affected by dementia

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for promoting healthcare education and supporting families affected by dementia
