In this capacity, you will be 'Certified' under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority's Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). The position will oversee investment strategy across Aviva's Wealth sector in the UK, providing leadership and guidance to the workplace and retail investment proposition teams to ensure Aviva delivers top-tier investment solutions to its clientele.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Spearheading the design, development, and execution of workplace and retail investment propositions, incorporating competitive analysis and product positioning while ensuring a clear strategic direction and innovation. Overseeing the ongoing governance of investment propositions, maintaining the market integrity of investment solutions. Identifying emerging market opportunities and trends to drive innovation, future proposition development, and marketing strategies, addressing customer needs while adhering to regulatory standards. Leading the team to enhance market presence through collaboration with Employee Benefit Consultants, advisers, presenting at industry events, and engaging with media outlets.Desired Skills and Experience:
Proven leadership experience with a strong record of delivering market-leading investment propositions. Extensive knowledge of institutional and retail investment propositions, with a solid understanding of the UK pensions and savings market landscape. Gravitas and credibility in engaging and influencing internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Proficient in both internal and external communication, with strong presentation and public speaking skills. Customer-centric, driven, and passionate, with excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
