Long-term Contract Opportunity for Supplier Quality Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supplier development techniques to improve quality and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Provide training and support to suppliers to improve their quality capabilities
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to ensure that quality requirements are met

Requirements:

  • HND/HNC in manufacturing engineering or relevant experience
  • Previous experience working in a Defence or Automotive supply chain environment
  • Knowledge and experience of supplier development techniques
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Good proficiency with using Microsoft Office
  • Able to work well individually as well as within a team
  • Must be able to be on-site each day
  • Experience in FAIRS and ISO9001 desirable
