Job Title: Night Food and Beverage Chief Steward

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Food and Beverage Chief Steward to join our team at The Londoner, a 5-star hotel in the heart of Leicester Square. As a Night Food and Beverage Chief Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the back of house during the night, working closely with the Back of House Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all cutlery and crockery and the overall upkeep of all back of house stock levels.
  • Receive and inspect goods for the Back of House area, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Assist in the training, coaching, and development of Food and Beverage Stewards during the night, providing feedback to measure training effectiveness.
  • Identify training needs in the back of house area to ensure all team members have opportunities for development and growth.
  • Participate in health and safety audits with the Back of House Manager.
Requirements:
  • Current Back of House supervisory experience in a similar hotel or environment.
  • Ability to prioritize business needs to drive and support back of house operations teams.
  • Working knowledge of back of house areas of the hotel to assist internal and external clients.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current health and safety procedures and requirements in food and beverage.
  • Health and safety qualifications at a minimum CIEH Level Two.
