Job Title: Anaesthetic Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetic Consultant to join our team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

About the Role
  • Provide anaesthetic services to a variety of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopaedics, and obstetrics.
  • Work collaboratively with other consultants and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors and medical students.
  • Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
Requirements
  • FRCA or equivalent qualification.
  • MBBS or Basic Medical Degree.
  • Full GMC registration.
  • Experience in providing anaesthetic services to a variety of surgical specialties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
