Job Description

Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Not Specified

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Salary: £ - £ per hour

The role involves working one-on-one with children who exhibit challenging behavior, social emotional and mental health difficulties, and autism. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing challenging behavior and providing individualized support to children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized behavior interventions to support children with challenging behavior
  • Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement support plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children with social emotional and mental health difficulties
  • Support children with autism to develop their skills and independence

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with challenging behavior and social emotional and mental health difficulties
  • Experience working with children with autism
  • Clear Enhanced DBS registration (Child Workforce/Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service
  • Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
