Job Title: Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Worker to join our team at GSL Education. The successful candidate will work with children who have challenging behavior, SEMH, Autism, and have been through the care system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized behavior interventions to support children with challenging behavior, SEMH, and Autism.
  • Ensure the child's safety at all times, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the child's team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Monitor and record the child's progress, reporting any concerns or issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children, young people, or young adults with mental health requirements, challenging behavior, and Autism.
  • Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service.
  • Available for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
