Job Title: Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Worker to join our team at GSL Education. The successful candidate will work with children who have challenging behavior, SEMH, Autism, and have been through the care system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized behavior interventions to support children with challenging behavior.
  • Ensure the child's safety at all times.
  • Work on a 1:1 basis with children to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support package for each child.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior management strategies.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with challenging behavior, SEMH, and Autism.
  • Ability to work on a 1:1 basis with children and develop strong relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/ Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service.
