We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher to lead our Physical Education department at Harris Invictus Academy Croydon. As Subject Leader of PE, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of our students.

You will work closely with the senior leadership team to establish a culture of excellence in PE, ensuring that our students receive the best possible education and opportunities for personal growth.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of subject leadership, with experience of developing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a high-quality PE curriculum that meets the needs of our students.
  2. Lead and manage the PE department, including staff development and performance management.
  3. Work closely with the senior leadership team to establish a culture of excellence in PE.
  4. Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs that meet the needs of our students.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the PE curriculum and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
  • Experience of subject leadership and curriculum development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
