About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Subject Leader to join our team at Harris Academy Morden. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our client management subject area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the client management subject area, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Lead the development of the curriculum, ensuring it is broad, balanced, and relevant to the needs of our students.
  • Manage and deploy teaching and support staff, financial and physical resources to achieve outstanding student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective operation of target setting, monitoring, and evaluation systems.
  • Recruit, build, and manage an effective team of motivated staff.
Requirements
  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a good, relevant undergraduate degree.
  • Have experience of leading others, ensuring high-quality performance.
  • Have successful experience in implementing monitoring, evaluation, and review processes to improve teaching and learning.
  • Understand creative whole-school strategies for improving literacy and numeracy and their importance in raising achievement.
  • Have recent and relevant experience of managing and implementing change successfully at subject leader level.
  • Be willing to use coaching as a model for ensuring ongoing professional development.
