Risk Actuary Job Description

HFG is seeking a highly skilled Risk Actuary to join their Risk Capital Team. As a Risk Actuary, you will play a crucial role in providing technical advice and support for quantitative risk and capital assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Oversight: Provide risk oversight of both reserving and pricing, ensuring that the company's risk exposure is accurately assessed and managed.
  2. Validation Exercises: Undertake validation exercises for risk types and support model change applications, ensuring that the company's risk models are accurate and up-to-date.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Work with the regulator to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and input into market-wide exercises, ensuring that the company remains compliant with industry standards.
  4. Team Development: Support the development of the Risk Capital Team, contributing to the growth and success of the team.

This role is ideal for a Qualified Actuary with a background in pricing or reserving seeking to transition into a Risk position and enhance their expertise in risk and capital management.
