Job Title: Projects and Quality Supervisor

The ideal candidate will have a background in Site Management, Building Control, or as an Inspector with a Warranty Provider. You will be responsible for developing and implementing QA policies, procedures, and standards that align with our company's best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing quality plans for construction projects, including defining quality criteria, inspection and testing protocols, and quality assurance checkpoints.
  • Overseeing the execution of quality control processes throughout the construction project lifecycle, including monitoring workmanship, materials, and compliance with specifications.
  • Evaluating and selecting reliable vendors and suppliers of construction materials and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Providing training and guidance to construction teams on quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Identifying potential quality risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, such as conducting risk assessments, implementing preventive measures, and addressing issues promptly.
  • Conducting regular inspections, audits, and quality reviews of construction activities, processes, and deliverables to verify compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Managing documentation related to quality assurance activities, including maintaining records of inspections, test results, non-conformities, corrective actions, and quality assurance reports.
  • Investigating non-conformities, defects, and quality issues, and leading efforts to implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives, requirements, and expectations.
  • Facilitating clear and effective communication regarding quality-related matters.
  • Monitoring quality performance metrics, analysing data trends, and identifying opportunities for process improvements and quality enhancements across projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, standards, regulations, and industry certifications applicable to construction projects.

We offer a competitive salary of between £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus a package including car allowance, pension, healthcare, 26+ days annual leave, and other benefits.
