As a Pastry Chef at Baxendale Mason Ltd, you will be responsible for preparing a wide range of sweet and savory pastries, cakes, and desserts. You will work closely with our culinary team to develop new and exciting menu items, and ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a wide variety of baked goods, following traditional and modern recipes
  • Develop new and innovative dessert ideas to renew menus and engage customers
  • Monitor inventory levels and make appropriate orders within budget
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation in all products
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, baker, or relevant role
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Willingness to continuously develop professional knowledge and skills
  • Deep understanding of sanitation principles, food preparation, and baking techniques
  • Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (gluten-free, sugarless, etc.)
  • Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field
