About the Role:

RPS Group is seeking an experienced Senior Civil / Highway Technician to join our infrastructure team. This role will involve working on various projects, including Aviation and Highway-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production of 3D models using Civil 3D software
  • Convert 3D drawings into detailed designs
  • Coordinate the production of detailed drawings and specifications
  • Collaborate with design disciplines on design models and calculations
  • Oversee drawing production and verify work quality
  • Review consultants' and contractors' design proposals
  • Manage document uploads and downloads
  • Adhere to BIM protocols and office drawing standards
  • Attend project and technical meetings
  • Conduct site inspections and produce surveys as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Aviation or Highways sector with a HND
  • Proficiency in creating Civil 3D models and extracting sections and quantities
  • Experience with CAD drawing, 3D modeling, and BIM coordination
  • Ability to use relevant design analysis software
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of relevant legislation and standards
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of time and budget implications
