Senior Civil Engineer - Highways

RPS Group is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the production of 3D models using Civil 3D software, converting 3D drawings into detailed designs, and coordinating the production of detailed drawing and specification output. You will also be responsible for completing design models, calculations, and sketches in collaboration with other design disciplines, and assisting in overseeing drawing production and verifying work quality from colleagues.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to progress their career as a Civil Engineer within our industry-leading team. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including Aviation and Highways, and will be responsible for managing the upload and download of documents within our document management systems.

Requirements

  • Proficient in creating Civil 3D models and extracting sections and quantities from the model
  • Knowledge of industry design guides
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of relevant legislation and standards
  • Experience in the use of engineering software
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and of time and budget implications
