Job Description

NES Fircroft is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Clerk / Administrator to join our team in Kintore, Aberdeenshire. This is a contract role initially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Management: Create and upload Certificate of Compliance (CoC) and Databooks to the document repository/DMS, ensuring all backlogs are cleared.
  • Legacy Document Retrieval: Locate and supply legacy manufacturing documents from company records to vendors for databook compilation.
  • Trace Verification: Conduct trace verification to ensure components are traced back to their material, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Report discrepancies to engineering and support Quality Management System (QMS) maintenance by revising procedures to current processes.
  • Business Management System (BMS) Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of the Local BMS.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with HSSE Plan, Quality Plan, and related project requirements.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers with requests for previous documentation.
  • Vendor Liaison: Liaise with vendor quality teams to ensure first-pass databook compliance.
  • Third-Party Queries: Resolve complex Third-Party queries and deliver fully compliant databooks on time.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a continuous improvement methodology, identify, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address defective documentation.
  • Quality Program Support: Support all elements of the quality program and drive overall quality in manufacturing and service.
