Industrial Engineer

Ransomes Jacobsen Ltd., a leading global manufacturer of commercial mowers and turf maintenance equipment, is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements and enhancing manufacturing efficiency across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Process Analysis and Improvement: Conduct thorough analyses of our manufacturing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business results.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects to improve operational efficiency, quality, and productivity, and report progress to senior leaders.
- Data Analytics: Utilize software environments and statistical analysis tools to analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lean Principles: Apply lean principles, such as waste identification and elimination, theory of constraints, and 1-piece flow, to evaluate and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with key stakeholders to implement business strategic initiatives and drive results.
- Ergonomics and Workplace Optimization: Evaluate and improve physical workstations and layouts to enhance operator satisfaction, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required, Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma, and quality control principles.
- Proficiency in software environments, including statistical analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work with staff at differing levels and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
