Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and implement AI-driven strategies to tackle immediate and long-term challenges across water and wastewater management.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to synchronize technology roadmaps with strategic planning, enhancing business capability maturity and value realization.
  • Define a dynamic innovation portfolio, prioritizing initiatives based on their strategic value and business impact.
  • Lead the discovery and assessment of future trends and emerging technologies that align with Severn Trent's strategic goals.
  • Establish and promote best practices for AI/ML development and deployment both internally and externally.
  • Foster robust relationships with stakeholders, academic institutions, government agencies, and industrial partners to drive collaboration and innovation.
  • Serve as a thought leader internally and within the sector by articulating complex technical concepts in an accessible manner to diverse audiences.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in AI/ML solutions architecture with deep expertise in model development.
  • Ability to craft and articulate long-term AI/ML strategies that drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of water and wastewater utilities, coupled with the ability to align AI strategies with business goals.
  • Experience in engaging cross-functional teams, mentoring talent, and influencing senior stakeholders to adopt and invest in AI/ML initiatives.
