Location: Coventry (Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled Network Architect to join our team. As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure to support our business operations.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide technical oversight and direction to a team of network engineers, leading the process of identifying growth opportunities and supporting ongoing transformation programs. You will work on finalising the future roadmap of client network infrastructure and ensure network tools and infrastructure are maintained to drive excellent service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform network modelling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures.
  • Responsible for holding third parties to account for technical and operational aspects of the design.
  • Help translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Consistently ensure adherence to relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices.
  • Staying up to date on emerging technologies and trends, and developing expertise in specific areas of networking, such as cloud computing, software-defined networking (SDN), or network security & Automation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive proven experience working as a Senior Network Architect.
  • Knowledge of the following network technologies: LAN (local area network), WAN (wide area network), Wi-Fi, data-center LAN, SD (software-defined) networks, telephony, mobile solutions infrastructure, unified comms, network management solutions, network-specific security and remote access technologies and approaches.
  • Excellent understanding of Aruba networking products and solutions.
  • Ability to construct and document end-to-end designs for networking solutions.
  • Ability to work independently yet cohesively as part of a distributed team using agile methodologies.

Good to have:

  • AWS and Azure cloud networking, VPCs and transit gateways.
  • Python, PowerShell, API, understanding and ability to work with Active Directory.
