Job Title: Interior Designer

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: £27,000-£32,000 dependent on experience

Job Type: Permanent

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for delivering creative and inspiring projects across various sectors, including education, residential, retail, and hospitality.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop interior spaces that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of design concepts and presentations
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Post-qualification experience in an Architecture or Interior Design practice
  • Strong technical drawing skills and proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp
  • Excellent FF&E knowledge and sourcing skills
  • Proven record of working on hospitality projects
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comprehensive building regulation knowledge
  • Live locally to the Essex region
