Key Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the credit assessment and risk management team, supporting our expanding and innovative technology solutions division. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough analyses of customer data across various risk categories and ensuring the precision of automated scoring systems, with assistance from the deputy credit risk manager.
- Reviewing monthly performance reports and preparing for departmental strategy meetings.
- Engaging in credit evaluation discussions with senior management, demonstrating insights into clients facing financial difficulties, high-risk exposures, industry trends, and service level agreements related to credit assessments.
- Monitoring credit exposure metrics and facilitating regular discussions with credit and senior credit analysts to comprehend the factors influencing exposure levels.
- Generating comprehensive reports and formal requests for board review, including detailed analysis and contextual commentary.
- Addressing feedback from various departments and implementing necessary actions to enhance collaboration.
- Recognizing broader organizational needs and conducting regular meetings with teams closely aligned with the Credit Assessment unit to support these objectives.
Expectations:
- Outstanding communication abilities, with a talent for building and nurturing relationships across diverse personalities within the organization.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in underwriting, preferably within a B2B context, along with leadership experience.
- Proficiency in identifying opportunities for improvement and executing effective changes.
- Capability to inspire and motivate team members while upholding exceptional customer service standards and fostering high employee engagement.
- Adaptability in management style to effectively engage with various team dynamics, enhancing motivation and productivity.
