Mech Electrics Limited is on the lookout for experienced and driven Senior Mechanical Engineering Project Managers to collaborate with various clients, engaging in a range of prestigious Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) initiatives across the UK.

Successful applicants will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring that all goals are achieved within the designated timeframe, budget, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing timelines, financials, and resource distribution.
  • Facilitate coordination with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to guarantee seamless project execution.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies, addressing issues promptly.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the project team.
  • Prepare and deliver project reports, including updates on progress and financial performance.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance and control measures.
  • Provide technical direction and support to team members and subcontractors.
  • Continuously explore opportunities for enhancement and innovation within the project scope.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project management, ideally within the M&E sector.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and delivering intricate projects.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and building services methodologies.
  • Proficient in utilizing project management software.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as necessary.
