We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care, where you will play a vital role in providing holistic physiotherapy services to patients with complex, life-limiting illnesses.

About the Role

As a Physiotherapist in our Outpatient Services, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments and developing personalized treatment plans to improve the quality of life for our patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct holistic physiotherapy assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex, life-limiting illnesses
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Physiotherapist and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Contribute to patient information groups and courses, such as advanced care planning, breathlessness management, and exercise programs
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of National Service Frameworks and local initiatives related to palliative care
  • Participate in reflective practice and continuing professional development to ensure high-quality care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration
  • Experience in a wide range of core clinical areas, including Respiratory, Neurology, Medical, MSK, and Community
  • Awareness of National Service Frameworks and local initiatives related to palliative care
  • Previous experience and knowledge of working within the field of palliative care
