Specialist Safeguarding Adults Nurse/Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Safeguarding Adults Nurse/Practitioner to join our integrated safeguarding team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated professional to play a key role in supporting the safeguarding adult agenda within the trust and across wider partnerships.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to staff on safeguarding adults, ensuring high standards of care and promoting the welfare of adults at risk.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with national and local legislation and guidance.
- Work closely with the Named Nurse - Safeguarding Adults, Lead Nurse for Mental Health, Learning Disability and Neurodiversity, and the Specialist MCA practice nurse to support the clinical areas in their safeguarding duty.
- Provide visible, proactive, high-quality clinical presence to staff in relation to safeguarding adults, ensuring a 'Think Family Approach' to the Safeguarding Adults agenda.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the remit for adult safeguarding and the associated legislative requirements.
