We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Safeguarding Adults Nurse/Practitioner to join our integrated safeguarding team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and support to staff on safeguarding adults, ensuring a high-quality service that promotes the welfare of adults at risk.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with national and local legislation and guidance.
- Work closely with multi-agency partners, including police and social care, to ensure effective safeguarding practices.
- Provide training and education to staff on safeguarding adults, including the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and the Care Act.
- Lead on the development and implementation of assurance systems to monitor and measure safeguarding practices.
- Registered Nurse/Healthcare Professional with significant experience of working with adults at risk.
- Postgraduate qualification and/or relevant training in safeguarding adults.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high quality of work.
- Flexibility to work across the trust and with external partners as required.
