The Role

We are seeking a Microsoft Support Consultant to join our team. As a key contact for supported customers, you will provide day-to-day support and shape the evolution of customers' solutions. You will be a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of Microsoft Data Analytics solutions and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to customers across a range of Microsoft Data Analytics solutions.
  • Work with key customers to expand the partnership and deliver exceptional support services.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of supported customer applications.
  • Proactively manage support contracts and identify potential issues before they become critical.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer documentation.
  • Communicate relevant product upgrades and proactive maintenance to customers.
  • Follow our Support Guide for call handling and time recording.
Skills and Attributes Required
  • 2+ years' experience working with Microsoft Data Analytics solutions on-premise and in the cloud.
  • Strong understanding of core technologies: T-SQL, Data Factory, SQL Server BI suite, Power BI.
  • Cloud Fundamentals - solid grasp of Azure's core services, deployment models, networking, and security.
  • Rapidly absorbs complex information and applies it effectively.
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude with ability to work as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills to both technical and non-technical contacts.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, preferably with experience of working as a support consultant in an ITIL environment.
Advantageous Qualifications and Skills
  • Additional Skills: Databricks, Python,.NET Framework.
  • IBM Cognos BI or IBM Planning Analytics.
  • Azure Fundamentals, Data Fundamentals, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
  • ITL4 Foundation.
  • Project management experience and certification.

Successful candidates will be required to complete Security Clearance checks.
