We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our brand new service in Western-Super-Mare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a 4-bedded children's home and a staff team of 9, ensuring a high quality of care is delivered to young people.
About the Role:- Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver a positive and enriching living experience for young people.
- Manage the home's operations, including staff supervision, training, and development.
- Represent the company professionally to outside agencies and the local community.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant position, with at least 1 year of staff management experience.
- Recognised social work qualification, such as QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People).
- Thorough knowledge of Children's Home legislation and inspection requirements for Ofsted.
- Ability to drive a manual gear car and have use of own car with business insurance.
- 22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
- Occupancy Bonus: £175 per child after the first child
- Ofsted Report Bonuses- £500 for a good report, £1000 for an outstanding report
- Non-contributory pension (9% Employer contribution) and company sick pay after 6 months probation
- On call payments- £10 per day Monday- Fridays and £50 for Saturday and Sunday
- Enhanced sick pay - 5 days full sick pay
