Job Title: Head of Private Family Law

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Private Family Law to lead our Private Family Law Department in Coventry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a high-quality caseload of privately funded family law matters, providing leadership and guidance to our team, and driving the department forward.

About the Role:
  • Manage a high-quality caseload of privately funded family law matters from enquiry through to resolution
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to our experienced family law team in a collaborative and client-focused environment
  • Advocacy work and advising clients on matters pertaining to divorce and separation, prenuptial agreements, finance and property division, cohabitation and property rights, civil partnership issues, Children Act matters, domestic violence and injunctions, and financial matters
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within private family law
  • Experience of running a private family law caseload including complex matters, from instruction to resolution
  • Strong leadership skills and a consistent billing history
  • Good client care skills and excellent organisational skills
