The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach. As a Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our corporate and meeting events segments.

Your primary focus will be on maximising revenue opportunities and converting sales leads into bookings. You will work closely with our banquet operations and kitchen teams to ensure seamless execution of events, and develop strong relationships with clients to build loyalty and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Proactively follow up on sales leads and convert them into bookings.
  • Coordinate and host familiarisation and site inspection activities to showcase our hotel's capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the banquet operations and kitchen teams to ensure accurate information and smooth execution of events.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of hotel property management systems, such as Opera Cloud and Delphi Sales & Catering.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
