The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth is a leading private hospital in London, known for its high-quality care and commitment to excellence. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Medical Ward team.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse to provide high-quality patient care on our Medical Ward. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized patient care
- Ensure a welcoming and safe environment for patients and their families
- Participate in the efficient operational management of the ward and undertake shift leading responsibilities
- Deputize for the Ward Manager and Deputy Ward Manager
- Undertake tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Ward Manager to support the management and development of nursing care
- Undertake the Duty Manager role
Person Specification
Essential
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with a valid NMC registration
- Diploma/degree in a relevant subject
- Post-registration qualification in stroke or acute medicine or demonstrate relevant experience and competency in the area of specialty
- 2 years post-registration experience in one of the specialties of the ward
Desirable
- Experience of shift management and leading a team
- Evidence of ongoing training and commitment to development
