RF Engineering Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced RF Engineering Director to lead our European subsidiary's RF engineering team. The successful candidate will spearhead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation RF technologies, products, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the RF engineering team.
  2. Strategy Development: Develop and execute the RF engineering strategy, aligned with the company's broader goals and objectives.
  3. System Design: Oversee the design, simulation, and testing of RF systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to capture RF opportunities and build on the company's capabilities and product offerings.
  5. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in RF design processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
  2. 10+ years of experience in RF engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  3. A proven track record of leading successful RF projects from concept to production in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  4. Deep expertise in RF design, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, and communication systems, and a desire to continue playing a role as an individual contributor on programs, projects, and key R&D activities.
  5. Strong knowledge of the latest simulation tools and RF testing equipment.
  6. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, hands-on approach to challenges.
