About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients admitted to our in-patient ward, Jade Ward.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to deliver excellent patient care. You will also have the chance to develop your own areas of special interest and contribute to research, development, and medical education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to patients admitted to Jade Ward, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs of each patient.
  • Contribute to the development of research, development, and medical education initiatives, aligning with the Trust's strategic objectives.
  • Participate in peer support and professional development opportunities, including the Trust-wide consultant network.
