Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Planning Specialist to join our team at Allen & York. As a key member of our Environmental Planning Service team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advising clients on their infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

As an Environmental Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting clients on their infrastructure projects, providing expert advice on environmental impact assessments and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across various technical disciplines to deliver multidisciplinary environmental projects.
  • Leading bids and sales for environmental projects, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Staying up-to-date with UK EIA regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience of working in EIA or environmental consultancy roles.
  • A strong understanding of UK EIA regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead bids and sales.
  • Experience of working on diverse infrastructure projects of various scales.
  • Membership of a relevant institution, such as IMEA.
