About the Role
The Regional Environmental Team Lead will be responsible for managing all stages of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) including SEA and other environmental assessments and consents. This will involve providing direction and oversight of the regional Environmental Team, including management of resources and working with National Lead and HR on pastoral care and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage EIA and other environmental assessments and consents
- Provide direction and oversight of the regional Environmental Team
- Manage resources and work with National Lead and HR on pastoral care and performance
- Support business development and tenders
- Provide supervisor and mentor role to members of the environmental team
- Support recruitment
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental management and a proven track record of leading teams. They will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent people skills and ideally previous management/supervisory experience. They will also have a thorough understanding of EIA, sustainability and consenting, and be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and client-facing skills.
